When an uptight councilman threatens to close a burlesque club, where 401(k) plans and a childcare center are among the employee perks, the owners turn to performing Shakespeare in the nude to take advantage of an “artistic merit’’ loophole in the law. When it’s evident that the dancers can’t act, the club owner reluctantly turns to his brother, a conservative college drama professor, to help him put on the show.
