Centers on the highly publicized event that took place in Bologna, Italy in 1858, in which the papal police kidnapped a 6-yearold Jewish boy claiming that he had been secretly baptized. As the Catholic Church kept this boy a prisoner inside the Vatican, the world became furious and demanded he be returned to his family. This incident eventually took away the Pope’s political power.
